So I am sure I have pissed enough friends and family off in the past 2.5 months with lack of correspondance and phone calls. I have been rediculiously busy. I am working 3 jobs and going to school once a week, teaching 6 classes a week and taking 3-4 classes. I am almost done my training and doing very well, I am so proud of myself. I had a paid class offered at the studio for the month of June because of the excellent feedback on my classes and was just offered to keep my 7 am Tuesday class paid for the summer to be reassed in the fall! This is great as she does not ask everyone to stay on. In turn I am waiting patiently to finish here at Halfmoon, I am going to die with exhaustion (but still love the teaching and doing well in this state) I am a silly little girl. Also, need to get a landline so that my one minute long distance calls do not cost so much and then I can call more. Christopher I wanted to call you on your b-day but worked from 8-8 and I hope I text was enough to show my love for now. Other news. I went to Harry Connick Jr. last Sunday with Johnny and Erika, AMAZING show. So inspiring, I want to play piano again. He completed my dream of seeing a Dean Martin/Frank Sinatra style show. I cried, I am a loser. I stated Saturday night that if Harry ever came to town I would go, and love and behold the next morning Erika asked if I wanted to go to see Harry Connick Jr that night....so strange how the universe works....the best $80 ever! SEE HIM!!!! Scotty was just here for work, nice to hang with him and coworker for a couple of nights...I love hime....he and Trena are coming in 2 weeks for a vacation and we are heading to Seattle, Johnny and my first "vacation" together...... Love and misses to all of you.... Current Mood: drained

So I finally bought a bike. It has been a long, slow and painful process that you folks will definitely appreciate and understand as you know me better than anyone (Robyn, Christopher, Natasha and Melissa). I was looking for the right bike, I decieded that the cruiser style was a better fit for me as I am really nervous about biking alone and I find it less intimidating and more of a pleasure rider as opposed to a commuter. So after finding one I liked with hand brakes and gears (so many hills here in vancouver) I bit the bullet on Wednesday! AHHHHHHHHH and it sat in our apartment until till this morning when I took it to work!!! So liberating, I even rode on the road some of the way. I am lucky though as for half the way there is a bike lane. So yeah me! I also bought a wok last week. I wanted a cast iron one like my mom's so that I could cook stir fries and not stress about the teflon. Found a great one in China town, loved it. Yesterday I went to a yoga voice class. Now don't laugh, but I have wanted to take voice lessons since I lost my voice in the fall. I use my voice to teach in ways I never have before and I want to preserve it with proper exercises. The class came at a great time, it was 2 hours and I got to hang with my buddy Melissa. It was a great day for us. I feel really inspired by her, she is great! Anyhow, must built up courage to bike home soon! Peace out!

Joelle, look what you've done to me. You've sparked my newest addiction to Facebook. Hearing you talk about it made me finally check it out, I have gotten a few requests to join the Facebook, and you helped to make me finally cave!!!! Holy shit it's like a whole new world out there! I thought that myspace was cool, but this is amazing, so much easier and connecting with long lost coworkers, classmates and friends is so cool!!! Thanks JOELLE YOU ARE THE BEST!!!! Johnny and I celebrated our one year anniversary of living together with lovely Indian food and then we headed home to get a mic stand and microphone for Alicia, she is practicing for her comedy competition this weekend (so exciting). But when we got home the fire alarm went off and we had to take the kitties with us on our trek to Strathcona. We picked up Alicia and decieded to go for Gelato, mmmmmmmm. But it was tricky to get us all out and I held the cats and rushed out. Not realizing that the keys staed in until after we tried to get back to the car. Man I an so dumb sometimes. Agedore was freaking out that we could not get in, Luna was so calm and funny. It cost us some looks, our pride (as we loitered in the Gelato shop, and $50 to get in the car back. AHHHHHHHHH On a lighter note(or perhaps darker note however you look at it), I saw my first mosquito yesterday. It was as if I had never seen one before, I was ducking and flailing my arms trying to figure out what was getting so into my personal space. Little devil!! I thought that Vancouver was pretty safe from those devils...maybe it was an April Fools joke or something from the Gods... Current Mood: ditzy
